Unmissable Cohorts

Overview
 

Each Unmissable cohort runs for 12 weeks and is limited to 10 local businesses. We meet once a week for 3–4 hours of hands-on learning, discussion, and real-world coaching — in person, right here in Carter County.  Business partners, staff, or spouses are welcome to listen in online through Microsoft Teams, but class time is reserved for the owners and decision-makers in the room.
 

Together, we’ll dig into topics like:
 

  • Branding & Positioning: Standing out without selling out.
  • Mapping Carter’s Hidden Gems: Watauga, Tweetsie, Sycamore, and beyond.
  • Social Media: Telling your story in a way people can feel.
  • Hiring & Team Building: Finding folks who share your values.
  • Turning Up What Makes You Unique: Owning what sets you apart.
  • Honoring Our History & Legacy: Using our roots to shape our future.
  • Delivering an Experience:  Not just having your doors open.  Showtime!
  • Keeping It Real: Growing without losing what makes Carter County special.

 

Every session, you'll leave with things you can do right now.  You’ll get 1-on-1 coaching, on-site visits, and access to a toolbox of templates, guides, and resources to keep improving long after the course ends. You’ll also be surrounded by other Carter County business owners who share your love for this place and want to help each other succeed.
